Katherine's legal journey began when she was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2013, marking the commencement of a dedicated career in law. Over the years, she expanded her reach and influence, gaining admission to the Oregon Bar in 2016 and the Washington Bar in 2017. Katherine's commitment to her craft is evident in her ongoing pursuit of admission to the Connecticut Bar, showcasing her dedication to serving her home state.
During her tenure as a prosecutor at the Miami Dade State Attorney's Office in Florida from 2013 to 2016, Katherine focused on addressing domestic violence cases. Her impact extended to the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office in Portland, Oregon, where she continued her prosecutorial career from 2017 to 2021 with a continued emphasis on domestic violence issues. Currently, Katherine works at The Flood Law Firm, using her legal experience to help those who have been injured through no fault of their own. In 2024, she was sworn into Connecticut’s Bar, allowing her to fight for her clients to receive the compensation they deserve.
Beyond the courtroom, Katherine is a proud Connecticut native who resides with her husband and two young boys. Her passion for life extends beyond the legal realm, as she finds joy in activities such as hiking, yoga, traveling, and music. Katherine's multifaceted approach to life mirrors her approach to the law, combining a strong sense of justice with a deep appreciation for the richness of life's experiences.
