Daren R. Altieri is a lifelong resident of Connecticut. He was admitted to the State of Connecticut Bar in 1999, and the Federal court in 2001. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with academic honors in 1995 and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Roger Williams University School of Law in 1999. While at Roger Williams University School of Law, he participated in a Trial Advocacy program as well as a Criminal Defense Clinic where he successfully tried a domestic assault case to verdict as a Rule 9 Attorney.
Daren is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Waterbury Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, which is currently comprised of attorneys who are generally recognized as the finest trial lawyers in the State of Connecticut.
Daren began his career as a litigator where he served as defense counsel on behalf of companies and individuals at a Connecticut private law firm in a wide variety of matters including product liability claims, construction site litigation and wrongful death claims. Upon leaving this firm, he served as trial counsel on behalf of a major insurance company in both Connecticut state and federal courts. These cases involved construction site accidents, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and complex personal injury claims. Mr. Altieri has been selected by counsel as an arbitrator to resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution.
At the Flood Law Firm, LLC, Daren practices throughout Connecticut in state and federal courts. His practice includes the representation of injured persons in automobile and trucking accidents, premises and product liability cases, dog bite cases, construction site cases, un/underinsured cases, negligent security cases, slip and fall cases, burn injury cases, traumatic brain injury cases and wrongful death cases.
He seeks efficient and just resolution for all of his clients whether through trial, dispositive motions, or alternative dispute resolution. He has completed many jury trials and many more bench trials.
